Mofford Suffers Mild Concussion in Fall
Gov. Rose Mofford suffered a mild concussion in a fall from a rostrum and will work from her home all week, her spokeswoman said Monday.
Mofford fell about 2 feet from a rostrum during an anti-drug meeting in Yuma on Sunday night but went on to joke about the fall and give her talk.
Dr. Timothy Harrington, a neurosurgeon at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, diagnosed the mild concussion, said Vada Manager, Mofford’s spokeswoman. Mofford also complained of pain in her right wrist and shoulder, but apparently there are no broken bones, the spokeswoman said.
