Timothy V. Wolf, vice president and controller of Irvine-based Taco Bell, has been elected to the board of directors of the 177-bed Irvine Medical Center, scheduled to open in the early summer of 1989.

Wolf’s election was the last step in a restructuring of the hospital board of directors. The restructuring is aimed at preparing the hospital to shift from a planning to an operating mode, according to Irvine Medical Center President John C. Gaffney.
