In a top corporate shuffle, CBS on Tuesday abolished the posts of president and vice president of the CBS Television network. The company reappointed the respective occupants of those jobs, Thomas F. Leahy and Anthony C. Malara, to two newly created positions. Leahy will head the CBS marketing division and Malara the network’s affiliate relations division. The moves, said CBS Broadcast Group president Gene F. Jankowski, were made in response to what he called “dramatic changes” the last few years in the national TV marketplace.
