Designer Oleg Cassini won a $16-million award from a federal court jury that found in his favor against fragrance maker Jovan Inc. in a breach of contract suit. Cassini, 75, who designed clothes for Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis when she was first lady, claimed that Jovan violated a 1978 contract to make and market a fragrance line for men and women under Cassini’s name.
