Lyle L. Pavlis, vice president of Sheldahl Inc., has been appointed operations manager at the Minnesota electronics company’s manufacturing site in Tustin. He replaces Sam Hughes, who has left the company. After four years as an engineer with Honeywell Inc., Pavlis joined Sheldahl in 1972. In 1979, he was named a production manager and became vice president of operations four years later. Sheldahl develops, manufactures and markets flexible circuits, membrane switches, graphic display systems and other specialized fabrications for the computer and office equipment, aerospace and defense, industrial and instrumentation, and consumer products markets.
