Two Fullerton Players Taken in Baseball Draft
Two members of the Fullerton College baseball team were taken in the Major League Baseball amateur draft, which concluded Friday, Fullerton Coach Nick Fuscardo said Friday.
Alan Newman, a freshman pitcher, was selected in the second round by the Minnesota Twins. Deryk Hudson, a freshman third baseman, was taken by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 11th round.
