Two teen-agers riding a motorcycle were killed Friday night in Anaheim when they collided with a car, police said.

David Slight, 19, and Anthony Vandermade, 18, both of Anaheim, died at the scene of the accident, which occurred shortly before 6:45 p.m. at Broadway and Rosebay Street, Lt. Bob Puckett said.

The driver of the car and his wife sustained moderate injuries. They were in fair condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange.

Puckett said the motorcycle was eastbound on Broadway and traveling fast when it collided with the car, a 1985 Chrysler New Yorker, which was turning left from Broadway onto Rosebay Street.

Neither motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet, and police were trying to determine who was driving, Puckett said. No citations were issued, and an investigation is continuing, he said.
