Lower Desert Slates Business Outlook Talks

Robert B. Lind, senior vice president of administration and planning for Great Western Real Estate, will be the keynote speaker at the second annual Coachella Valley Business Outlook Conference to be held on June 13 and 14 at the new Palm Springs Convention Center.

The event is a joint effort by the nine communities of the valley to demonstrate the benefits of locating or relocating clean, smokeless industry to the area and to highlight the alternative business and personal life style it has to offer.

Newly elected Mayor Sonny Bono will welcome conference delegates along with Patricia Larson, Riverside County supervisor, and John Stiles, the group’s steering committee chairman.

Among the attendees will be more than 400 chief executive officers, site selection executives, commercial real estate specialists, financial experts, developers and investment counselors, said Stiles, adding that the event will make use of both the Convention Center and the new Wyndham Palm Springs hotel.
