The Kings have signed goalie Mark Fitzpatrick, left winger Sylvain Couturier and defenseman Chris Panek for next season, General Manager Rogie Vachon announced Monday.

Fitzpatrick was the second choice in the 1987 entry draft. Couturier was the fourth-round pick in the 1986 entry draft, and Panek was taken in the 1987 supplemental draft.

In other personnel moves, Vachon also said the Kings have bought out the remainder of the contract of goalie Al Jensen.

Among the Kings who will become free agents are centers Glen Currie and Chris Kontos, and wingers Chris McSorley and Mike Siltala.

The Kings also said that winger Ross Wilson, the team’s third-round selection in the 1987 entry draft, refused a contract offer and remains on the team’s reserve list as an unsigned draft choice.
