An Army laboratory in Hawaii has positively identified four sets of remains as those of Air Force fliers missing from the Vietnam War, the Pentagon announced. The four, three of whom died in a 1966 plane crash, were identified by the Army’s Central Identification Laboratory in Honolulu and were transported to Travis Air Force Base near Sacramento for their final journey home. The four, none from California, were among 17 sets of remains turned over to the United States by Vietnam on March 2.
