Escondido City Council OKs Community Plan
The Escondido City Council has approved construction of Signal Landmark Inc.’s $150-million Eagle Crest community and golf course to be built on a 872-acre site at the end of Rockwood Road, adjacent to the northwest boundary of San Diego Wild Animal Park.
Sales of the 640 single-family-detached houses are scheduled to begin in mid-1989, with move-ins set for early 1990.
