Pomona : Cal Poly Begins Funds Drive
Cal Poly Pomona has begun a multimillion dollar campaign for private funds to augment state money for new buildings and expansion of some existing programs. Called Partners in Progress, the campaign seeks to build centers for the arts, technology and science, educational research and other fields of study.
The campaign will be headed by actor Raymond Burr and W. Keith Kellogg II, grandson of W. K. Kellogg, the cereal magnate who founded the college with large donations of land and money. The exact financial goal will be announced in the fall.
