Local News in Brief : South County : Budgets on Agenda for 2 City Councils
Budget matters will be taken up next week at meetings of city councils in San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach.
In Laguna Beach, council members are scheduled to adopt a budget in excess of $26 million, including money for one year of services to the recently annexed community of South Laguna. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in City Hall.
San Juan Capistrano will hold the third in a series of public hearings on a proposed budget of approximately $31 million. That meeting will also be at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
Two other south county cities, San Clemente and Mission Viejo, have no council meetings scheduled next week.
