In August, Marvel Comics will unveil “Semper Fi,” a new comic book devoted to the United States Marine Corps. Written by Michael Palladino, who served in the Marines from 1965-1969, the monthly will depict the action “whenever and wherever the Marines have served throughout their two-century history.” In addition to the standard adventures involving combat and boot camp, “Semper Fi” will deal with such issues as post traumatic stress disorder in Vietnam veterans.
