Baryshnikov Cancels Tour

LUBBOCK, Tex. —
Dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov, who had two sellout shows booked here, has canceled his summer tour due to injury, officials said today.
Baryshnikov was to open his summer tour July 1 at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. Bruce Neal, promotions director for the amusement park, said he received a telegram Tuesday from the dancer’s tour manager, saying Baryshnikov had aggravated a knee injury and will undergo surgery.
