Norman Rivkin, 78, a founding member of the Publicists Guild of America who first came to Hollywood in 1932. The one-time board member and publicity director of the National Council of Christians and Jews was a member of Frank Capra’s Army Signal Corps motion picture unit during World War II, where several famous documentaries were produced. His main contribution there was as producer of the “Quick Facts” series. Over the years, Rivkin worked primarily for RKO Pictures and Universal Studios. In Los Angeles on Tuesday of pneumonia.
