Detroit Writer Has Los Angeles All Wrong

Mitch Albom of the Detroit Free Press treated us in a June 7 column to the same old stereotypes.

Sorry, Mitch. Folks in L.A. work 40 hours a week, just like everyone else. A lot of us can’t stomach Perrier. By the way, the essence of “Showtime” is great defense.

Are the Lakers a hard-working team? Put your money on it. Are they a team that plays for the men and women of L.A.? Bet the house on it.
