Paramedic at Accident Struck, Injured by Car

NEW YORK —
A paramedic working at the scene of a highway collision Sunday was hit by a car, breaking both her legs, officials said.
The driver of the vehicle was charged with drunken driving, police said. Two people were killed and four were injured in the earlier collision involving two cars on a rain-slickened Brooklyn highway.
