Local News in Brief : Laguna Beach : Applicants Are Sought for Five City Panels

The City Council is seeking applicants for four city committees and one board. Persons applying must be city residents and file with the city clerk’s office by Thursday.
One vacancy exists on the Laguna Beach Personnel Board. The person appointed would fill an unexpired term that runs to Sept. 30.
There are two vacancies each on the city’s Cable TV, Housing and Recreation committees. There is one vacancy on the city’s Human Affairs Committee. All persons appointed to these committees would serve until January, 1989.
Application forms for the vacant positions may be obtained from the city clerk’s office at 505 Forest Ave. All applicants will be interviewed by the City Council at the council’s regular meeting at 6 p.m. July 5.
