Police on Monday were seeking a masked gunman who robbed the Price Savers Club, escaping with $32,000 in cash, authorities said.
Four employees were in the store in the 16500 block of Von Karman Avenue at 7:50 p.m. Sunday when a man wearing a ski mask and holding a gun demanded the money, Police Lt. Sam Allevato said. The suspect apparently hid in the store at closing time, he said.
Witnesses described the suspect as a white male in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 130 to 160 pounds.
Witnesses did not see any vehicle leave the store, Allevato said.
