Ex-Reagan Aide Gets New Post

President Reagan today tapped former aide M. B. Oglesby Jr. to return to the White House as deputy chief of staff, the White House announced.

Oglesby, 45, currently vice chairman of the board of Hecht, Spencer & Oglesby Inc., government relations representatives in Washington, will succeed Kenneth M. Duberstein. Duberstein has been promoted to the post of chief of staff, succeeding Howard H. Baker, who has resigned. Oglesby formerly served in the White House as assistant to the President for legislative affairs.
