Pasadena : $93.2-Million Budget OKd
The Board of Directors has approved a $93.2-million operating budget for next year, representing a 5.2% increase over last year’s budget.
The largest expenditures in the budget include $19.4 million for the Police Department; $11.7 million for the city’s Administrative Services Agency, which is responsible for maintaining city facilities, and $10.9 million for the Fire Department.
The largest revenue sources for the city include $16.7 million from sales taxes, $13.7 million from property taxes and $10.9 million from the utility user tax.
