A grandfather clock that belonged to a man believed to have helped organize the Boston Tea Party 215 years ago has been sold for $440,000.

The silver-dial clock was originally owned by Nathaniel Bradlee, believed to be one of the 58 organizers of the Dec. 16, 1773, tax revolt. He had kept it at a site on what is now Tremont Street in Boston, where the tea party was planned.
