Six players from the Detroit Red Wings were excluded from $16,000 incentive bonuses issued by owner Mike Ilitch because they violated curfew during the National Hockey League playoffs, according to the Detroit News.

The paper said that Bob Probert, Petr Klima, John Cabot, Joe Kocur, Darren Veitch and Steve Chiasson did not receive bonus checks because they went out drinking before Game 5 of the Campbell Conference finals against the Edmonton Oilers.

With all other players, Ilitch matched the $16,000 bonuses that the players receive from the league for making the conference finals.
