Personal Flag raced to the leaders as the field turned for home, then pulled away under the urging of jockey Pat Day to beat Waquoit by 3 1/2 lengths in the $380,100 Suburban Handicap at Belmont Park in New York.
Personal Flag paid $9.20 and $4.40, and Waquoit returned $4. There was no show betting.
