American League umpire Larry Barnett heads the six-man crew named to work Tuesday’s All-Star game at Cincinnati’s Riverfront Stadium.
Barnett, a 20-year veteran, will be working his fourth All-Star game. Don Morrison and Dale Ford, the other American League umpires, will be making their first appearances.
Frank Pulli, Terry Tata and Randy Marsh, all working their second All-Star games, will represent the National League.
The official scorers will be Jack Lang, secretary for the Baseball Writers’ Assn. of America; Vern Plagenhoef, the BBWAA’s president; and Glenn Sampler, the regular season official scorer at Riverfront Stadium.
