Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Information Sought on Victim of Fatal Hit-Run
Coroner’s investigators are seeking public help in identifying a man struck and killed by a hit-run driver on Bristol Street Sunday night.
The accident occurred about 8:55 p.m. between Pine and Walnut streets, according to police. A brown compact car heading north struck a man crossing Bristol and drove off, police said.
The man, who died about four hours later, was described as Latino, 25 to 28 years old, 5 feet, 1 inch tall, about 126 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Investigators said the man was carrying nothing that might help in his identification.
