The Paillard Chamber Orchestra and the Musicians from Marlboro will be among six groups performing at Laguna Beach High School as part of the Laguna Beach Chamber Music Society’s 29th season.

The society will also sponsor a four-concert Young Artist Series, which will begin at the Irvine Bowl in Laguna Beach and then move to the high school. County music pioneer Frieda Belinfante will guest-conduct at the opening concert, with free admission.

The Paillard ensemble, one of the first groups to earn a reputation for Baroque repertory, was formed in 1953 by French conductor-musicologist Jean-Francois Paillard. It will open the season with a Bach program Oct. 3.
