Southern California Edison Co. has signed a 20-year agreement to buy electricity from the Bonneville Power Administration in Washington. Edison will purchase from Bonneville 250 megawatts of capacity and 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours of energy each year beginning July 1, 1989. Initially, Edison will pay $2.85 cents for each kilowatt-hour. The agreement must be approved by regulatory agencies.
