Mission West Properties, a San Diego real estate owner and developer, reported a second-quarter net loss of $24,534 on revenue of $851,677 for the three months ended May 31, an improvement over a loss of $62,619 on revenue of $508,673 for the same quarter last year.
President Joseph LaBreche said the loss was expected because some of the company’s real-estate projects are not yet leased to the point that they generate income. For the six months to date, Mission West posted a profit of $773,623 on revenue of $3.8 million, contrasted with a net loss of $91,927 on revenue of $902,471 for the same two quarters last year.
