Huntington National Bank in Huntington Beach reported net income of $203,000 for the second quarter, a 50% increase over $135,000 earned in the second quarter of last year. Revenue rose 19% to $1.9 million from $1.6 million in the quarter last year. The bank posted net income of $393,000 for the first six months, a 62% increase over the $243,000 earned in the same period last year. Revenue increased 14% to $3.65 million this year from $3.2 million in the period last year. The bank’s total assets at the end of June were up 18% to $73.6 million from $62.5 million for the year-earlier period. Total deposits rose 19% to $67.5 million from $56.9 million a year earlier, and the loan portfolio rose 26% to $54.5 million from $43.3 million.
