Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Pickup

A Santa Ana man riding a motorcycle suffered fatal injuries Friday morning when he collided with a pickup truck on Bristol Street.
Thomas Grant Radford, 26, was traveling south on Bristol about 5:20 a.m. when he collided in the Warner Avenue intersection with Otilio Tapia Doranizs, 59, also of Santa Ana, who was on the northbound side making a left turn onto Warner.
Radford was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead at 7:35 a.m. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, although one was strapped to his motorcycle, police spokeswoman Maureen Thomas said. Doranizs was not injured or cited.
A police investigation is continuing.
