Race car driver A.J. Foyt, in a Houston hospital with stomach pains, said it’s unlikely he’ll be able to compete in Sunday’s Marlboro 500 Indy car race at Brooklyn, Mich.

“I felt fine until Monday night and then I started having these stomach pains, and they haven’t stopped,” Foyt said.

“I kept telling them (doctors) that I had to go racing but they still haven’t found out what it is.”
