Fernando Clavijo, one of the San Diego Sockers’ most popular players and best defensemen for the past four seasons, on Friday agreed to a two-year contract to play with the Lazers. No terms were announced.

Clavijo’s contract had expired after he reportedly earned $80,000 with the Sockers last season.

Clavijo is the third Socker to commit to the Lazers in the past month. Earlier, goalkeeper Jim Gorsek and midfielder Waad Hirmez agreed to terms with Los Angeles.
