Speaking of TBS, one of its corporate siblings, Turner Home Entertainment, announced Tuesday a $17-million deal with Image Entertainment to license about 700 of Turner’s RKO movie titles for viewing on home laser discs--an entertainment format once thought dead but now making a comeback. The initial RKO titles, set to be released in time for the Halloween season this October, feature a duo of fright films--”I Walked With a Zombie” and “Isle of the Dead”--and the 1951 Howard Hawks horror favorite “The Thing.”
