Wally and the Beav will have a faithful friend (Lassie) and a not-so-friendly innkeeper (Norman Bates) along for company on their latest Florida vacation--to Universal Studios’ new Orlando lot. The studio announced Tuesday that the Florida facility’s first film will be “Psycho IV,” again starring Anthony Perkins as everyone’s favorite psychopathic killer. Shooting right alongside Norman and Co. are two recycled TV classics, “The New Leave It to Beaver,” for Ted Turner’s Turner Broadcasting System, with Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow reprising their roles, and a new “Lassie” series, for syndication in the spring. The Disney Co. has already started production at its new studio in Florida.
