Murray Enshrinement an Honor Well Deserved
Justice is alive and well and living in (of all places) Cooperstown, N.Y.
What greater glory for Jim Murray than to be honored along with all the baseball greats he has made come to life for us through his magical words.
I do not know how many people read Jim Murray’s column, but I’ll bet we all share a love for him. He is the first man I see in the morning, he makes my coffee taste better, he makes the world sound better, he makes humanity feel better, he shares with us his gifts.
If the world is kept alive so long as there are 36 good people--surely Jim Murray is one of them. . . .
P.S. By the way, please tell Jim, “Baseball can also be a woman munching on a hot dog, slurping down a soft drink and yelling, ‘Kill the umpire!’ ”
