Building Up the Brick, and Tearing Him Down
I am appalled by the actions of Channel 13’s newest sports anchorman, Vic the Brick. His blatant distaste in covering diver Bruce Kimball’s auto accident, and the absolute lack of respect for the victims and their families is unforgivable.
Even worse is the way he refused to apologize on national television, given the opportunity by Roy Firestone of ESPN. Jacobs could learn something about true sportscasting from Keith Olbermann and Fred Roggin. They know how to keep the balance between comedy and journalism.
