The mother of former Dodger pitcher Don Sutton was killed when the car her husband was driving left the highway and overturned about 14 miles south of Evergreen, Ala. Lillian Sutton, 59, of Molino, Fla., was pronounced dead at the scene about 1:50 p.m.
Sutton’s father, Charlie, suffered minor injuries.
