Slow-Growth Controversy
Over the past months, The Times has noted:
--Fights between the surfers and the “Vals” over shore space.
--Fights between the beach-front property owners and the public over access space.
--Fights between residents and nonresidents over parking space.
--Fights between residents and developers over living space.
--Fights between motorists over driving space.
Clearly, overpopulation is now.
Slow growth is not the solution, but at least it may give us time to plan a solution before we run out of time--and space--for one.
