Chicago White Sox first baseman Greg Walker has been released from a suburban Chicago hospital where doctors readjusted his medication, said Sharon Hann, hospital supervisor.

Walker was first hospitalized July 30 when he suffered a seizure during batting practice before a game with the Angels at Comiskey Park. He suffered a second seizure the following day while hospitalized.

Doctors have ruled out epilepsy as the cause of the seizures and determined that Walker had cerebral vascularity, an inflammation of the vessels in the brain that may have been caused by a viral infection.
