The PGA Tour Policy Board reversed itself...
The PGA Tour Policy Board reversed itself on a May proposal and deferred its ruling to the U.S. Golf Assn. on whether or not the use of square grooved clubs in tournament competition should be permitted.
The USGA will begin tests soon in an effort to determine whether or not the grooves change the game. A decision is expected in about six months.
