Dennis Quaid and Michael Douglas remain very hot properties among video renters. While Douglas has been king of the rental mountain this summer, with “Fatal Attraction” and “Wall Street” swapping places in the No. 1 spot, Quaid’s two videos--”Suspect” and “D.O.A.”--have been doing rather nicely too. This week, “Suspect” slid into the No. 2 position ahead of “Fatal Attraction.” The fact that Quaid’s co-star in “Suspect” just happens to be Cher doesn’t hurt, either. Carl Weathers’ “Action Jackson” (No. 5) is proving to be a rental champ, too. Robin Williams is proving as hot with video watchers as he was with moviegoers in “Good Morning, Vietnam.” The film was a huge hit for Disney in theaters, and now--ranking No. 8 on the rental chart and No. 1 on the sales chart--it looks as though it will rake in some serious dollars in video, too.
