The Buffalo Bisons became only the second minor league baseball team to sell a million tickets in a season.
The Bisons, who have averaged 16,209 at a stadium seating 19,500, have nine home dates remaining and should break the all-time record of 1,052,438, set by the Louisville Redbirds in 1983, this weekend.
