Health inspectors from Monterey County have closed the restaurant at Clint Eastwood’s Hog’s Breath Inn in Carmel. Monterey County environmental health director Walter Wong said his inspectors found violations “too numerous to list” when they visited the restaurant Thursday. Among the problems: inadequate refrigeration, unsanitary conditions, improper food storage, structural problems that made it difficult to clean the restaurant and an “extremely dirty” kitchen, Wong said, adding the restaurant has been cited before, but corrected the problems “enough to get by on.”
