1 Killed, 3 Badly Hurt in Plane Crash
A small plane carrying four people crashed while landing at the Riverside County town of Rancho California on Friday, killing one occupant and seriously injuring three others, authorities said.
The aircraft went down after hitting a building during a landing attempt about 4 p.m., airport official Debbie Hoyer said.
One unidentified person apparently died on impact and the three other people in the plane suffered major injuries in a crash that “took part of the roof off” the building, fire dispatcher Lynn Rowe said.
