Well, the developers of Jordan Ranch and Ahmanson Ranch finally came out from under their rock and stated that their developments would make enough money to be incorporated as a city! This is to be around a national park, to which the park source limits access because the ecosystem is so fragile!

If they can’t get a right-of-way through private land to Jordan Ranch because it’s “too expensive,” then the development shouldn’t be built.

Residents should go out and look at Cheeseboro Canyon. I assure you, you’ll be amazed, as there is no parkland in the Santa Monica Mountains that approaches it. A real oak forest with the quiet spreading trees overhead and your footsteps muffled by the fallen leaves. Nice level ground--an easy walk for kids or older folk. A sense of solitude in the brush. Try it. Before the houses and 20,000 people there for a PGA tournament and the business park doom it to oblivion.
