ELVIS IS ALIVE!: No, silly, not at the local Burger King. On wax. In fact, the upcoming RCA sound track to “Heartbreak Hotel,” a new Touchstone film starring David Keith as Elvis, features five Presley originals, including “Baby Let’s Play House,” “One Night” “Burning Love” and “Power of My Love.” The album, due out Oct. 4, also features Keith’s own versions of “Love Me,” “Ready Teddy” and a Keith-Charlie Schlatter duet on a heavy-metal rendition of the title cut. . . . Remember Jane’s Addiction, the L.A. darlings who made such a big local splash last year? The group is back with its major-label debut album, “Nothing Shocking.” Well, almost. The album’s cover art--a sculpture depicting nude, female albino Siamese twins, each with her hair on fire--has prompted seven major retail distributors (including the giant Lierberman and Handleman chains) to refuse to carry the album. . . . Paging ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons: Tony Clarkin, guitarist for British hard-rock band Magnum, just turned down a $2.5-million offer from a British razor company to shave his beard off “live” for a TV commercial. The ad was for the launch of a new razor called Magnum. . . . And Willie Dixon, who was on hand for the recent Robert Johnson blues tribute at the Music Machine, has a new album due at the end of September on Capitol Records. Produced by T-Bone Burnett and titled “Hidden Charms,” it features such originals as “Jungle Swing,” “Good Advice” and “Study War No More,” which Dixon co-wrote with Alex Dixon, his 13-year-old grandson.
