San Diego Opera general director Ian D. Campbell will be host to two 2-hour “Subscriber Drives” from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and Nov. 13, on KFSD (FM-94.1). In encouraging listeners to purchase season subscriptions, Campbell will discuss the season and play recordings of arias and artists from the upcoming operas “Lucia di Lammermoor,” “Fidelio,” “Don Pasquale” and “Madama Butterfly.” Last year’s opera season was 74% subscribed, according to figures provided by the opera, and 80% of last year’s subscribers have renewed their season tickets, an opera spokeswoman said.
