Two executives with UST Inc. have been named directors of Camera Platforms International in Valencia.

The film and television equipment company said the directors are John J. Bucchignano, UST’s controller, and Richard A. Kohlberger, its vice president/deputy general counsel. Camera Platforms also said UST Chairman Louis F. Bantle has resigned from the board.

UST, formerly U.S. Tobacco, is a smokeless tobacco company based in Greenwich, Conn. The company is a major financial backer of Camera Platforms, which is headed by film director Hal Needham, and has the right under an agreement with the company to name at least two directors.

Separately, H. Richards Yarp was promoted from treasurer of Camera Platforms to vice president of finance.
